| ISO 9001:2000 Certification Aim is Set for the end of 2006 | |
| Tekyol Construction Co. has been applying an ISO 9001:2000 compliant quality assurance system; now the next step will be taken in order to assure our customers of the degree of our commitment to quality. The accreditation and certification procedure for ISO 9001:2000 have started in mid of June 2006. OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 accreditation is targeted for the first quarter of 2007. | |

First two Tubes hit the waters of Tuzla: |
| In June 2006, where the first two of the eleven tube elements that constitute the under water tunnels of the Marmaray Project were sent out from the dry dock where the phase 1 and 2 of construction was completed. On the water the third phase of construction will be done, where the upper slab will be constructed. | |

Bolu Tunnel Construction is opened for in site traffic |
| Bolu Tunnel Project, where the highway formation works have been tendered to Tekyol by tha main contractor Astaldi S.p.A. and where the pirimary works was started about sixteen years ago is near to the end. It is assumed that after the tunnel is opened for commuter traffic it will decrease the time spent between capitol Ankara and metropolis Ýstanbul to a mere 3.5 hours. The first light was seen in July 2005. After about 9 more months the tunnel is now open for in site traffic. |
